FIVE TIPS FOR GETTING THE MOST OUT OF THE BUNDLE

1.   Attempt every question before checking the solution.

An answer you understand only because you peeked is worth almost nothing in an exam. Sit with the discomfort for two minutes longer than feels natural — that's where the real learning happens.

2.   Mark honestly. Use a different colour pen.

Half marks for working, full marks for the answer. Be ruthless with yourself: if your method has a sign error, that's a method error, and is not 'close enough'.

3.   Read the 'common mistake' notes — even on questions you got right.

The notes flag mistakes typical of the grade you're targeting. You'll spot them in your own work the next time.

4.   Use the exam-style questions as timed practice.

Aim for ~1.5 minutes per mark. The exam-style sections are calibrated to that rhythm. If you're slower, the bottleneck is method recognition, not arithmetic.

5.   Come back to the same workbook a fortnight later.

Repetition with spacing is the single highest-leverage study habit. Aim for two passes through each workbook with a 10–14 day gap between them.

A WORD ON THE DIAGRAMS
